Use a clear, working mic
Roleplay here is voice-first — your character takes part in scenes by talking. A mic that cuts out, crackles, or sits at a whisper pulls everyone in the scene out of it, so a clear working mic isn't optional. Sort it before you connect.
Why this rule exists
A scene only works if people can actually hear each other.
